HIGHLIGHTS:
Nifty futures closed at 14855 on a positive note with 16.64% decrease in open interest indicating Short Covering. Nifty Futures closed at a discount of 9 points compared to previous day discount of 8 points.
BankNifty closed at 33696 on a positive note with 28.91 % decrease in open interest indicating Short Covering. BankNifty Futures closed at a discount of 27 points compared to the previous day premium of 7 points.
FII's were Buyers in Index Futures to the tune of 167 crores and were Sellers in Index Options to the tune of 1617 crores, Buyers in the Stock Futures to the tune of 1368 crores. Net Sellers in derivative segment to the tune of 49 crores
India VIX index is at 22.58 v/s 23.08.Nifty ATM call option IV is currently 17.84 whereas Nifty ATM put option IV is quoting at 25.75
