HIGHLIGHTS:
Nifty futures closed at 17558 on a Positive note with 1.35% decrease in the open interest indicating Short Covering. Nifty Futures closed at a premium of 24 points compared to the previous day premium of 19 points. BankNifty closed at 38357 on Positive note with 1.52% increase in open interest indicating Long Build Up. BankNifty Futures closed at a premium of 69 points compared to the previous day premium of 39 points
FII's were Sellers in Index Futures to the tune of 877 crores and were Buyers in Index Options to the tune of 791 crores, Sellers in the Stock Futures to the tune of 461 crores. Net Sellers in the derivative segment to the tune of 447 crores.
India VIX index is at 19.59 v/s 18.92. Nifty ATM call option IV is currently 18.66 whereas Nifty ATM Put option IV is quoting at 21.29
