NMDC gains on producing 2.79 MT of iron ore in May
NMDC is currently trading at Rs. 182.60, up by 1.25 points or 0.69% from its previous closing of Rs. 181.35 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 181.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 185.40 and Rs. 181.65 respectively. So far 330254 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 213.15 on 12-May-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 75.60 on 24-Sep-2020.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 188.95 and Rs. 175.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 53703.35 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 68.29%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.30% and 6.31% respectively.
NMDC has reported 2.79 million tonne (MT) of iron ore production and logged sales volume of 3.30 MT in the month of May 2021. The company’s Chhattisgarh mines produced 1.82 MT of iron ore and registered sales volume of 2.33 MT, while Karnataka mines produced 0.97 MT of iron ore and sold 0.97 MT of iron ore in May 2021.
