“ Mutual Fund industry continue to see net outflow in equity funds even in February as redemption were up by 34%. The fact that stock markets are trading near all-time high at present is playing on the mind of investors who would like to exit from few funds as well as continue to book profits. Another factor is the high return from their equity funds investment in the last one year is also tempting investors to redeem partially. We continue to suggest our investors to hold their long term equity portfolio and do not exit if there is no need for funds at present. Subscription or inflows in equity funds have also increased by 42% in last one month, re-emphasizing that there are investors who are seeing opportunity in equities and would like to invest for long term as well.”
