The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 315.40 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 520.53 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 39.41 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 27.29 per cent at Rs 1,539.66 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,209.53 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 29.04 per cent to Rs 1,093.44 crore from Rs 847.36 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 90.29 per cent at Rs 23.66 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 243.74 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 23.20 per cent to Rs 446.21 crore as against Rs 362.17 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 3.21 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 28.28 per cent y-o-y to Rs 11.92 crore, while Taxation increased by 263.31 per cent at Rs 105.36 crore (Mar'20 Rs 29.00 crore).
