The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 316.30 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2020 as compared to Rs 268.45 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 17.82 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 31.41 per cent at Rs 1,482.95 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,128.53 crore in the corresponding period last year. During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 36.19 per cent to Rs 1,079.30 crore from Rs 792.47 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 28.80 per cent at Rs 26.83 crore versus (Dec'19 Rs 20.83 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 20.11 per cent to Rs 403.65 crore as against Rs 336.06 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 8.60 per cent in December quarter. Interest declined by 15.60 per cent y-o-y to Rs 12.28 crore, while Taxation increased by 80.88 per cent at Rs 64.32 crore (Dec'19 Rs 35.56 crore).
