Morarjee Textiles Ltd posts Q4 net loss of Rs 13.66 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 13.66 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 12.25 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 25.35 per cent at Rs 64.58 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 86.51 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 32.38 per cent to Rs 57.35 crore from Rs 84.81 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 69.07 per cent at Rs 0.30 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 0.97 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 325.29 per cent to Rs 7.23 crore as against Rs 1.70 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 468.53 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 6.29 per cent y-o-y to Rs 15.37 crore, while Taxation increased by 102.21 per cent at Rs 0.12 crore (Mar'20 Rs -5.43 crore).
