Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders gains on launching third Stealth Frigate Project 17A `Taragiri`
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders is currently trading at Rs. 432.05, up by 3.40 points or 0.79% from its previous closing of Rs. 428.65 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 429.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 433.05 and Rs. 426.00 respectively. So far 25221 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 437.80 on 08-Sep-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 224.00 on 24-Feb-2022.

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders has launched third Stealth Frigate Project 17A ‘Taragiri’. This ship has been built using Integrated construction methodology which involves hull blocks construction in different geographical locations and integration/erection on Slipway at the company. The keel of Taragiri was laid on Sep 10, 2020 and the ship is expected to be delivered by August 2025. The vessel is being launched with an approximate launch weight of 3510 Tons. The ship is designed by the Indian Navy’s in-house design organization viz. Bureau of Naval Design. The company has undertaken the detailed design & construction of the ship which is also overseen by Warship Overseeing Team (Mumbai).
