The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 3,008.18 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 328.30 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 816.29 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose triple digit by 107.93 per cent at Rs 28,227.78 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 13,575.94 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 98.64 per cent to Rs 25,286.76 crore from Rs 12,730.00 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 4.16 per cent at Rs 26.48 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 27.63 crore). Operating Profit surged by 247.66 per cent to Rs 2,941.02 crore as against Rs 845.94 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 67.26 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 188.31 per cent y-o-y to Rs 394.04 crore, while Taxation decreased by 459.50 per cent at Rs -685.21 crore (Mar'21 Rs 190.60 crore).
