Mahindra Lifespace D posts Q4 net loss of Rs 28.44 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 28.44 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 253.28 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 18.62 per cent at Rs 41.51 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 51.01 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 17.56 per cent to Rs 78.74 crore from Rs 95.51 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 94.82 per cent at Rs 1.41 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 27.24 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 16.34 per cent to Rs -37.23 crore as against Rs -44.50 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 2.81 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 85.71 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.11 crore, while Taxation increased by 136.72 per cent at Rs -9.09 crore (Mar'20 Rs -3.84 crore).
