The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 21.81 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 54.35 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 59.87 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 11.87 per cent at Rs 325.79 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 291.21 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 19.93 per cent to Rs 273.53 crore from Rs 228.08 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 102.63 per cent at Rs 0.77 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 0.38 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 17.20 per cent to Rs 52.27 crore as against Rs 63.13 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 26.01 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 21.23 per cent y-o-y to Rs 14.16 crore, while Taxation increased by 40.32 per cent at Rs 12.32 crore (Mar'20 Rs 8.78 crore).
