MOIL jumps on recording 10% growth in production of Manganese Ore in February 2023

MOIL is currently trading at Rs. 153.80, up by 3.15 points or 2.09% from its previous closing of Rs. 150.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 155.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 156.25 and Rs. 152.00 respectively. So far 23779 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 198.95 on 05-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 137.30 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 156.25 and Rs. 147.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3143.85 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.68%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.00% and 17.32% respectively.

MOIL has registered 10% growth in production of Manganese Ore in February 2023 over the same period last year. Production of Manganese Ore stood at 1.31 lakh tonnes in February 2023. On the sales front, the company has sold 1.32 lakh tonnes of manganese ore during February, 2023 higher by 19% vis-a-vis February, 2022.

MOIL is the largest iron ore company in India and fifth largest in world. It currently operates seven underground mines (Kandri, Munsar, Beldongri, Gumgaon, Chikla, Balaghat and Ukwa mines) and three opencast mines (Dongri Buzurg, Sitapatore/Sukli, and Tirodi).
