The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 13.84 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 0.38 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 3542.11 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 37.12 per cent at Rs 370.76 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 270.39 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 32.14 per cent to Rs 331.49 crore from Rs 250.87 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 12.50 per cent at Rs 1.26 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 1.12 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 101.18 per cent to Rs 39.27 crore as against Rs 19.52 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 46.68 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 0.55 per cent y-o-y to Rs 9.05 crore, while Taxation increased by 744.74 per cent at Rs 7.35 crore (Mar'20 Rs -1.14 crore).
