LIC trades higher on diluting stake in `The United Nilgiri Tea Estates Company`

Life Insurance Corporation of India is currently trading at Rs. 621.10, up by 1.80 points or 0.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 619.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 620.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 625.70 and Rs. 620.00 respectively. So far 31085 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 920.00 on 17-May-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 617.00 on 29-Sep-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 635.50 and Rs. 618.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 393478.11 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 96.50%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.18% and 2.32% respectively.

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has diluted its stake in ‘The United Nilgiri Tea Estates Company’. The company’s shareholding in ‘The United Nilgiri Tea Estates Company’ has diluted from 4,81,294 to 3,80,396 Equity Shares decreasing its shareholding from 9.632% to 7.613% of the paid-up capital of the said company.
