The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 50.32 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 24.03 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 109.40 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 86.23 per cent at Rs 415.08 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 222.89 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 82.34 per cent to Rs 342.91 crore from Rs 188.06 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 71.32 per cent at Rs 2.18 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 7.60 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 107.21 per cent to Rs 72.17 crore as against Rs 34.83 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 11.26 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 63.16 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.93 crore, while Taxation increased by 92.75 per cent at Rs 13.82 crore (Mar'20 Rs 7.17 crore).
