ATUM Solar Roof - Designed, Innovated and Made in India - for the World - receives a Patent from USA
Visaka Industries Limited has been granted a patent for its product "ATUM" Solar Roof by the United States of America Patent Office, which is valid for 20 years. The patent has been granted for the invention titled "Eco-Friendly Energy Generating Roofs.“ Since its launch in 2018, ATUM Solar Roof has received patents from India (2020), South Africa (2021) and USA (2021). These countries, which are high on the list of leading solar energy producers and consumers, are seeing a rise in their installed capacities and ATUM is slowly making its presence felt in the industry. An integrated, solar energy generating roof like ATUM can enable distributed microgrids which is the need of the hour, and which will increase the pace of adoption of solar energy in these countries.
IndiGo announces special year-end sale with fares starting Rs 1,122
IndiGo has announced its special five day year-end sale that will offer customers all-inclusive fares on domestic flights starting at Rs 1,122. The sale, effective from Dec 27 2021 to Dec 31 2021, is valid on travel from January 15 2022 to April 15 2022. Passengers can avail of one free change under this offer if changed more than three days prior to departure. The offer is applicable on more than 150 domestic flights across the airline.
ITC commissions Rs 76 cr solar plant in Dindigul to cut carbon footprint
Cigarettes-to-hotel conglomerate ITC Ltd has commissioned its first offsite solar plant at Dindigul in Tamil Nadu. Built for Rs 76 crore, the plant will help reduce carbon dioxide emissions by the group’s businesses. The 14.9 megawatt (MW) plant spread over 59 acres will generate over twenty-two million units of renewable energy annually for ITC’s hotels, food manufacturing plants, paper manufacturing, and printing and packaging factories in Tamil Nadu. The plant has helped ITC meet 90 per cent of its electricity requirement from renewable sources in Tamil Nadu
BOC Aviation Ltd delivers eight Airbus A320Neo aircraft to IndiGo
BOC Aviation Limited has delivered the last of eight Airbus A320NEO aircraft to InterGlobe Aviation Ltd (IndiGo) under a purchase-and-leaseback agreement signed earlier this year. The aircraft is powered by CFM Leap engines, according to a statement.
Gokaldas Exports surges 9% as ICRA revises outlook to positive from stable
Shares of Gokaldas Exports rallied 9 per cent to Rs 338.10, hitting a multiyear high on the BSE in Tuesday’s intra-day trade after rating agency ICRA upgraded the company's long-term rating for Line of Credit (LOC) amounting to Rs 425 crore to [ICRA] A- (positive) from [ICRA]BBB (stable). The outlook has been revised to positive from stable. Further, ICRA has upgraded the short-term rating for the LOC to [ICRA] A2+ from [ICRA] A3+.
Supriya Lifescience lists 55% higher over issue price
Supriya Lifescience (SLL) has made a strong market debut, with its shares listing at Rs 425, a 55 per cent premium over its issue price of Rs 274 per share on the BSE. The stock has opened at Rs 421, a 54 per cent higher against its issue price on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
