IRCTC Q3 net profit soars 168%, firm declares interim dividend of Rs 2
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) on Tuesday reported 168% jump in net profit at Rs 209 crore for the quarter ending December 31, 2021. It reported net profit of Rs 78 crore in the year-ago period.
IRCTC's Q3FY22 revenue rose 141% to Rs 540 crore as against Rs 224 crore in Q3FY21. The company declared an interim dividend of Rs 2 per share and fixed February 18 as the record date for the purpose of payment of interim dividend.
Indian Bank net profit rises 34% to Rs 690 crore in Dec quarter
Indian Bank posted a 34 per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise in net profit during the December quarter to Rs 690 crore, led by an improvement in asset quality. “A major reason for the rise in net profit was improvement in asset quality. Deposits and Casa ratio during the quarter also improved,” said Shanti Lal Jain, the managing director and chief executive officer.
Zerodha's Kamath leads $4 mn-fundraise by marketing tech platform Kofluence
Influencer marketing platform Kofluence on Tuesday said it has raised USD 4 million (about Rs 30 crore) in funding led by discount brokerage Zerodha's co-founder Nikhil Kamath. Kunal Shah of fintech Cred, filmmaker Karan Johar, Dharma Productions' Apoorva Mehta, Udaan's Sujeet Kumar, microblogging site Koo's Aprameya Radhakrishna and venture capital fund Upsparks were among other investors who participated in the round. The newly raised money will be deployed for developing a proprietary platform, accelerating hiring across multiple geographies and scaling up for expansion, as per a statement.
Bajaj Electricals net profit down 51% at Rs 48.17 cr in December quarter
Bajaj Electricals Ltd on Tuesday reported a decline of 50.94 per cent in its consolidated net profit to Rs 48.17 crore for the third quarter ended December 2021.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 98.19 crore in the OctoberDecember quarter of the previous fiscal, Bajaj Electricals said in a regulatory filing. Its total revenue from operations was down 12.02 per cent to Rs 1,319.81 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 1,500.14 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
Airtel Q3 results: Net profit falls 3% to Rs 830 cr, revenue rises 13%
Telecom major Bharti Airtel on Tuesday reported 3% decline in consolidated net profit attributable to owners at Rs 830 crore for the quarter ending December 31, 2021. It earned net profit of Rs 854 crore in the year-ago period. Airtel reported a 12.6% rise in third-quarter revenue, helped by recent tariff hikes and subscriber additions. The company's consolidated revenue from operations for the quarter ended Dec. 31 climbed to Rs 29,867 crore from Rs 26,518 crore a year ago
