Bajaj Finserv reports 34% increase in Q4 net profit at Rs 1,346 crore

Bajaj Finserv Ltd on Thursday reported a 37 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 1,346 crore for the fourth quarter ended in March 2022. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 979 crore during the corresponding period of 2020-21

The consolidated income during the March 2022 quarter increased to Rs 18,862 crore, as against Rs 15,387 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year, Bajaj Finserv said in statement.

 

Bank of Maharashtra reports two-fold increase in Q4 profit to Rs 355 cr

State-owned Bank of Maharashtra on Thursday reported an over two-fold increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 355 crore in the quarter ended March, helped by a fall in the bad loan proportions, thus requiring lesser provisioning

The Pune-based lender had posted a net profit of Rs 165.23 crore in the year-ago period.

Total income of the bank, however, was down at Rs 3,948.48 crore in the January-March quarter of 2021-22, as against Rs 4,334.98 crore in the same quarter of 2020-21, Bank of Maharashtra said in a regulatory filing.

 

SBI Life Insurance net profit jumps 26% YoY in March quarter

SBI Life Insurance Co Ltd on April 28 reported a 26 percent rise in net profit at Rs 672.15 crore for the fourth quarter ended March.

The private sector insurer's profit stood at Rs 532.38 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, according to a regulatory filing.

However, total income rose marginally by 2.5 percent to Rs 21,427.88 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 20,896.70 crore in January-March 2021 period.

Radisson Hotel Group plans to add 100 hotels in India by the end of 2025 as part of its ambitious plans for expansion in the Asia-Pacific region, according to its CEO Federico Gonzalez.

In India, we should surpass 100 hotels this year. If I look at India, I don't know why we should not have 200 hotels there by 2025, he told PTI on the sidelines of the World Travel and Tourism Council Global Summit in Manila, capital of the Philippines.
