Kalpataru Power Transmission rises on completing sale of additional 25% stake in ATL

Kalpataru Power Transmission is currently trading at Rs. 439.55, up by 4.25 points or 0.98% from its previous closing of Rs. 435.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 439.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 445.00 and Rs. 436.50 respectively. So far 11134 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 455.80 on 12-Oct-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 332.30 on 11-May-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 455.80 and Rs. 413.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6569.87 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.55%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 41.37% and 7.09% respectively.

Kalpataru Power Transmission has completed the sale and transfer of an additional 25% of the total equity shares of Alipurduar Transmission (ATL) held by the Company to Adani Transmission. Post such sale, the company has now transferred an aggregate of 74% of the total equity shares of ATL, with an agreement to sell balance 26% to Adani Transmission, after obtaining requisite regulatory and other approvals and in a manner consistent with Transmission Service Agreement.
