The Mechatronics 2022 Program is part of the OEM’s global initiative and has been developed on Germany's dual-track vocational training program that offers supervised training to up-skill and re-skill talent. It also offers a global exposure to apprentices to work in other economies including Germany, China, and Brazil; giving them a scope to further explore opportunities abroad in the future. Since its inception in 2011, the program has trained over 128 Mechatronics professionals to date. Each year, the company also organizes ‘The Best Apprentice’ award as a token of appreciation to the graduate who has shown exemplary performance during the course of the program.

The program has been running successfully since its inception and has provided the industry with unmatched talent. All the graduates have been successfully placed in prominent positions and are proving their talent through various workshops and exhibitions. The year 2018 witnessed 4 girl apprentices which signifies that the program contributed to increasing the number of women on the Shop Floor. The graduates are groomed in a competitive manner to make them confident enough to participate in state and national level competitions hosted by the industry. The World Skill Competition hosted by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC - Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India) witnessed the talent of 4 such graduates from the Mechatronics Program who bagged gold medals at the zonal, regional, state and national levels.
