KEC International gains on reporting marginal rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

KEC International is currently trading at Rs. 383.05, up by 1.95 points or 0.51% from its previous closing of Rs. 381.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 387.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 397.00 and Rs. 383.05 respectively. So far 15975 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 486.45 on 03-Mar-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 188.50 on 18-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 397.00 and Rs. 368.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9987.88 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.82%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.32% and 11.87% respectively.

KEC International has reported a rise of 26.94% in its net profit at Rs 230.43 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 181.53 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 26.61% at Rs 4,109.24 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 3,245.66 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported marginal rise of 0.74% in its net profit at Rs 194.30 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 192.88 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 19.03% at Rs 4,372.87 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 3,673.73 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported a rise of 18.39% in its net profit at Rs 646.09 crore as compared to Rs 545.73 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 13.31% at Rs 11,879.81 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 10,484.49 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 2.26% in its net profit at Rs 552.72 crore as compared to Rs 565.52 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 9.75% at Rs 13,144.12 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 11,976.47 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
