Jeera prices rose due to good export demand
The market is expecting a lower yield and quality of jeera this season, which has boosted the demand from domestic and export buyers.
Cumin demand is predicted to exceed 85 lakh bags this year, with a likely supply of 65 lakh bags.
In March 2023 around 19,456.02 tonnes of jeera was exported showing a rise of 58.88% from February 2023

Dhaniya trading range for the day is 6430-6718
Dhaniya dropped due to increased arrivals pressure at major trading centers.
Demand has been slower at prevailing levels as stockiest are expecting downfall in prices.
Supplies are improving in Rajasthan, as Rajasthan is likely to witness bumper production in current year.
Carry over stocks of old coriander is around 5-6 lakh bags is estimated to remain
Turmeric
Observations

Turmeric dropped on profit booking in expectation of rise in domestic supplies.
Supplies in Maharashtra and Telangana are likely to increase as farmers are getting fair realization on their produce.
India Meteorological Department projected onset of monsoon is likely to be delayed by three days.
