JSW Energy soars reporting 36% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

JSW Energy has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2022.
The company has reported a rise of 17.48% in its net profit at Rs 156.07 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 132.85 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 41.90% at Rs 1300.87 crore for Q2FY23 as compared Rs 916.74 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported rise of 35.63% in its net profit at Rs 456.57 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 336.62 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 16.04% at Rs 2596.27 crore for Q2FY23 as compared Rs 2237.36 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
