The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 57.52 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 60.09 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 4.28 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 15.64 per cent at Rs 1,559.59 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,348.64 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 17.66 per cent to Rs 1,427.74 crore from Rs 1,213.42 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 7.02 per cent at Rs 10.06 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 10.82 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 2.49 per cent to Rs 131.85 crore as against Rs 135.22 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 15.75 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 20.95 per cent y-o-y to Rs 33.78 crore, while Taxation decreased by 58.80 per cent at Rs 8.29 crore (Mar'21 Rs 20.12 crore).
