JK Agri Genetics Ltd posts Q2 net loss of Rs 15.26 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 15.26 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 11.02 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 59.73 per cent at Rs 4.55 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 11.30 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 1.78 per cent to Rs 24.27 crore from Rs 24.71 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 32.65 per cent at Rs 0.65 crore versus (Sep'20 Rs 0.49 crore). Operating Profit surged by 47.05 per cent to Rs -19.72 crore as against Rs -13.41 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 264.72 per cent in September quarter. Interest declined by 12.20 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.44 crore, while Taxation increased by 37.87 per cent at Rs -6.08 crore (Sep'20 Rs -4.41 crore)
