Ircon International rises on emerging as lowest bidder by NHSRCL

Ircon International is currently trading at Rs. 48.00, up by 0.50 points or 1.05% from its previous closing of Rs. 47.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 48.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 48.45 and Rs. 47.65 respectively. So far 102529 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 54.20 on 11-Feb-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 36.40 on 13-Oct-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 48.45 and Rs. 44.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4467.45 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.18%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.18% and 23.64% respectively.

Ircon International with its JV partner has emerged as the lowest bidder valuing Rs 3429 crore in the tender floated by National High Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRCL) for the design and construction of 18.133 km of viaduct involving Ahmedabad Station and Sabarmati Station and associated works for the project for construction of Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail. The completion period of the project is approximately 4.5 years.
