Cyient touches 52-week high on reporting 6% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Cyient is currently trading at Rs. 1140.75, up by 49.30 points or 4.52% from its previous closing of Rs. 1091.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1136.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1194.10 and Rs. 1129.20 respectively. So far 88964 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1,194.10 on 21-Apr-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 724.00 on 03-Nov-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1194.10 and Rs. 1051.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 12870.93 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 23.36%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 57.49% and 19.15% respectively.

Cyient has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2023. The company has reported fall of 61.06% in its net profit at Rs 111.90 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 287.40 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 10.14% at Rs 614.80 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 684.20 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported rise of 5.84% in its net profit at Rs 163.20 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 154.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 42.36% at Rs 1751.90 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 1230.60 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, the company has reported fall of 37.66% in its net profit at Rs 354.80 crore as compared to Rs 569.10 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 14.03% at Rs 2310.10 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 2025.80 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 1.51% fall in its net profit at Rs 514.40 crore as compared to Rs 522.30 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 31.22% at Rs 6097.30 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 4646.50 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.
