The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 20.76 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 20.34 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 2.06 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 1.77 per cent at Rs 212.89 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 209.19 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 1.54 per cent to Rs 174.05 crore from Rs 176.77 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 124.10 per cent at Rs 3.72 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 1.66 crore). Operating Profit surged by 19.80 per cent to Rs 38.84 crore as against Rs 32.42 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 17.68 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 67.75 per cent y-o-y to Rs 7.75 crore, while Taxation increased by 69.16 per cent at Rs 12.23 crore (Mar'21 Rs 7.23 crore).
