HIGHLIGHTS:
Nifty futures closed at 17495 on a negative note with 3.72% decrease in the open interest indicating Long Unwinding.
Nifty Futures closed at a discount of 18 points compared to the previous day premium of 15 points.
BankNifty closed at 40402 on positive note with 2.78% decrease in open interest indicating Short Covering.
BankNifty Futures closed at a premium of 29 points compared to the previous day premium of 61 points.
FII's were Sellers in Index Futures to the tune of 141 and were Buyers in Index Options to the tune of 4344 crores, Buyers in the Stock Futures to the tune of 155 crores. Net Buyers in the derivative segment to the tune of 4443 crores.
In cash Segment, FII Sold 454 CR & DII Bought 908 CR
