HIGHLIGHTS:
Nifty futures closed at 18281 on a positive note with 15.16% decrease in the open interest indicating Short Covering.
Nifty Futures closed at a premium of 37 points compared to the previous day premium of 32 points.
BankNifty closed at 42479 on positive note with 11.50% decrease in open interest indicating Short Covering.
BankNifty Futures closed at a premium of 22 points compared to the previous day premium of 19 points.
FII's were Buyers in Index Futures to the tune of 1521 and were Sellers in Index Options to the tune of 2586 crores, Buyers in the Stock Futures to the tune of 949 crores. Net Sellers in the derivative segment to the tune of 1230 crores.
In cash 297, FII Sold 698 CR & DII Bought 637 CR
