HIGHLIGHTS
Nifty futures closed at 17858 on a positive note with 0.34% decrease in the open interest indicating Short Covering. Nifty Futures closed at a premium of 46 points compared to the previous day premium of 66 points. BankNifty closed at 41648 on positive note with 3.20% decrease in open interest indicating Short Covering. BankNifty Futures closed at a premium of 80 points compared to the previous day premium of 121 points. FII's were Buyers in Index Futures to the tune of 1674 and were Sellers in Index Option 686 crores, Buyers in Stock Future 1475 crores. Net Buyers in the derivative segment to the tune of 2422 crores.
