Moreover, for the first time, there is a feature called Isofix to assist baby on board by comfortably placing the child in the rear seat. Specifications of Hyundai Verna includes an engine of 998/1493/1497 cc with a maximum horsepower of 113/118 bhp and 144/172/250 Nm torque. Mileage according to the ARAI ranges between 17.1 to 21.4 km per litre.
Things to watch out
Both Honda City and Hyundai Verna are exclusive sedans but there are some factors which you must surely keep in mind before making a purchase.
The first-generation Honda City had a sporty nature which seems to be missing in this new body. Moreover, variations in the vibrant colours of the car are also limited. Lastly, Honda has discontinued the spirited 1-litre turbo petrol in our country. On the other hand, the Hyundai Verna also has some downsides like a sluggish engine of 1.4 litres and a cramped headroom in its rear.

The all-new 7th generation Honda City has undergone a drastic transformation as its manufactures have added new flesh to the old skeleton. There are many new added features in the spacious cabin of the car. Price for this revamped model varies from Rs. 10.89 Lakh to Rs. 14.64 Lakh with the on-road price of its top variant being listed as Rs. 17.11 Lakh.
Honda City’s tough competitor, i.e., Hyundai Verna has also brought about some modifications and variations to its flagship car to make it more advance and up to date. Thus, it would suit the likes of the millennial people. Price of this exclusive sedan ranges between Rs. 9.03 Lakh to Rs. 15.18 Lakh. The on-road price of its top variant is similar to Honda City as it is priced at Rs. 17.74 Lakh. Honda City is available in 7 variants whereas, Hyundai Verna is available in 12 variants.
Although, these two are one of the most popular talks of the town, yet there are some rival cars which are doing very well in the market. Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Vento and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz are also similar models with almost similar features.
