Hindustan Unilever gains on reporting 10% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit
Hindustan Unilever is currently trading at Rs. 2568.50, up by 22.05 points or 0.87% from its previous closing of Rs. 2546.45 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 2550.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2575.00 and Rs. 2533.05 respectively. So far 764042 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2859.10 on 21-Sep-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2043.80 on 03-Nov-2020.

Hindustan Unilever has reported 8.86% rise in its net profit at Rs 2187 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2021 as compared to net profit of Rs 2009 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 10.73% at Rs 12837 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 11593 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 10.49% rise in its net profit attributable to owners of Rs 2181 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 1974 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 11.23% at Rs 13099 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 11776 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
