Hindustan Organic Chemicals moves up on re-starting Kochi Phenol Plant

Hindustan Organic Chemicals is currently trading at Rs. 31.65, up by 0.70 points or 2.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 30.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 31.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 32.00 and Rs. 31.25 respectively. So far 47122 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 47.90 on 08-Jun-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 25.35 on 24-Feb-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 33.30 and Rs. 30.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 212.60 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.78%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.02% and 41.21% respectively.

Hindustan Organic Chemicals (HOCL) has re-started the company’s Kochi Phenol Plant after temporary shutdown. However, the materials will be available from June 9, 2022. Earlier, the company had informed about temporary shutdown of Company’s Kochi Plant till the end of 1st week of June, 2022.

The company is principally engaged in the business of bulk industrial chemicals and chemical intermediates.
