The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 13.05 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 28.38 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 54.02 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 27.14 per cent at Rs 749.58 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 589.59 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 35.76 per cent to Rs 663.06 crore from Rs 488.42 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 402.03 per cent at Rs 9.89 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 1.97 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 14.48 per cent to Rs 86.52 crore as against Rs 101.17 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 32.75 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 31.32 per cent y-o-y to Rs 41.97 crore, while Taxation decreased by 21.25 per cent at Rs 12.45 crore (Mar'21 Rs 15.81 crore).
