Hero MotoCorp rises on gearing up to expand electric two-wheeler range

Hero MotoCorp is currently trading at Rs. 2979.20, up by 21.85 points or 0.74% from its previous closing of Rs. 2957.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2997.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3025.50 and Rs. 2950.00 respectively. So far 23788 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2977.85 on 07-Jun-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2246.75 on 28-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3025.50 and Rs. 2827.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 59399.93 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.77%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 54.87% and 10.36% respectively.

Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to expand its electric two-wheeler range while upgrading its existing sales infrastructure to enhance premium play as part of its future growth plans. In the electric two-wheeler space, the company plans to introduce new entry-level models in order to cater to a wider set of customers. It would focus on bolstering its presence in the premium segment, expanding the commuter segment and achieving leadership in the electric two-wheeler segment.
