Heidelberg Cement India jumps despite reporting 25% fall in Q1 net profit

Heidelberg Cement India is currently trading at Rs. 179.35, up by 1.80 points or 1.01% from its previous closing of Rs. 177.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 176.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 181.30 and Rs. 176.00 respectively. So far 10809 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 277.95 on 16-Sep-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 164.00 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 181.30 and Rs. 172.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4064.31 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.39%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.24% and 14.36% respectively.

Heidelberg Cement has reported 24.82% fall in its net profit at Rs 51.61 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 68.65 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 5.95% at Rs 600.15 crore in Q1FY23 as compared Rs 566.45 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Heidelberg Cement India is engaged in the manufacturing and selling of cement.
