HDFC Bank trades in green on opening first branch in Keylong
HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1375.95, up by 21.30 points or 1.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 1354.65 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1364.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1379.70 and Rs. 1353.35 respectively. So far 502010 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1724.30 on 18-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1292.00 on 08-Mar-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1440.00 and Rs. 1328.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 762450.90 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 25.78 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 60.33 % and 13.89 % respectively.
HDFC Bank has opened its first branch in Keylong, becoming the first private sector bank to open a branch in the Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. HDFC Bank's journey in Himachal Pradesh began way back in 2004 when it opened its first branch in the state at Sanjauli in Shimla.
Since then, the bank has been growing its presence across Himachal Pradesh through a combination of bank branches and digital banking initiatives. At present, the bank has 82 branches in 76 cities/towns spread across 11 districts of Himachal Pradesh.
