HDFC Bank jumps after its advances rise 14% in Q1FY22

HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1498.80, up by 18.15 points or 1.23% from its previous closing of Rs. 1480.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1484.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1500.70 and Rs. 1484.15 respectively. So far 97871 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1650.00 on 24-Feb-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 994.00 on 03-Aug-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1523.35 and Rs. 1477.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 828786.80 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 25.97%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 61.02% and 13.01% respectively.

HDFC Bank’s advances aggregated to approximately Rs 11,475 billion as of June 30, 2021 (Q1FY22), a growth of around 14.4% over Rs 10,033 billion as of June 30, 2020 and a growth of around 1.3% over Rs 11,328 billion as of March 31, 2021. The Bank’s deposits aggregated to approximately Rs 13,460 billion as of June 30, 2021, a growth of around 13.2% over Rs 11,894 billion as of June 30, 2020 and a growth of around 0.8% over Rs 13,351 billion as of March 31, 2021.

The Bank’s CASA deposits aggregated to approximately Rs 6,120 billion as of June 30, 2021, a growth of around 28.2% over Rs 4,774 billion as of June 30, 2020 and degrew by around 0.6% over Rs 6,157 billion as of March 31, 2021. The Bank’s CASA ratio stood at around 45% as of June 30, 2021, as compared to 40.1% as of June 30, 2020 and 46.1% as of March 31, 2021.
