HDFC Bank gains on partnering with Startup India for `Parivartan SmartUp Grants`

HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1649.65, up by 6.10 points or 0.37% from its previous closing of Rs. 1643.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1652.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1657.35 and Rs. 1645.80 respectively. So far 2501071 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1721.85 on 04-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1271.75 on 17-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1657.35 and Rs. 1604.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 918270.67 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 25.64%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 59.65% and 14.70% respectively.

HDFC Bank has launched its sixth annual grants program for social startups in partnership with the Government of India’s flagship initiative ‘Startup India’. Known as Parivartan SmartUp Grants, the program aims to identify startups working in the social impact space and support them through monetary grants to their incubators.

The grants have been offered under the aegis of Parivartan, the umbrella name for the bank’s social initiatives. So far, the bank has disbursed over Rs 30 crore to more than 45 incubators which supported over 165 start-ups working in areas like environment, agri-business, ed-tech, waste management, healthcare, and skill development sectors.

The bank has been enabling startups through its state-of-the-art SmartUp program, which provides specialised banking and value-added services to entrepreneurs. It aims to assist start-ups in achieving their goals through the bank’s well renowned and highly advanced smart financial tools, advisory services, and technology.
