Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals falls as LIC offloads 2.01% stake in the company

Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals is currently trading at Rs. 176.20, down by 3.70 points or 2.06% from its previous closing of Rs. 179.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 179.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 179.50 and Rs. 173.40 respectively. So far 120583 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 198.70 on 05-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 82.60 on 13-Apr-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 192.00 and Rs. 170.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7035.12 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 37.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 30.59% and 31.57% respectively.

Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has offloaded 2.01 percent stake in Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals via open market transactions. With this, its shareholding in the company reduced to 6.06 percent, from 8.07 percent earlier.
