The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 71.73 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 65.21 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 10.00 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 14.08 per cent at Rs 220.66 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 193.43 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 17.76 per cent to Rs 91.71 crore from Rs 77.88 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 24.92 per cent at Rs 7.08 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 9.43 crore). Operating Profit surged by 11.60 per cent to Rs 128.95 crore as against Rs 115.55 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 2.18 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 16.56 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.26 crore, while Taxation increased by 51.49 per cent at Rs 37.57 crore (Mar'21 Rs 24.80 crore).
