The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 34.96 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 11.88 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 194.28 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 8.01 per cent at Rs 671.42 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 621.63 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 6.12 per cent to Rs 574.92 crore from Rs 541.76 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 50.69 per cent at Rs 8.88 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 18.01 crore). Operating Profit surged by 20.82 per cent to Rs 96.50 crore as against Rs 79.87 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 11.83 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 204.56 per cent y-o-y to Rs 8.68 crore, while Taxation decreased by 50.63 per cent at Rs 17.53 crore (Mar'20 Rs 35.51 crore).
