The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 25.92 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 27.42 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 5.47 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 6.64 per cent at Rs 423.01 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 396.68 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 14.60 per cent to Rs 381.56 crore from Rs 332.96 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 818.68 per cent at Rs 8.36 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 0.91 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 34.97 per cent to Rs 41.44 crore as against Rs 63.72 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 38.98 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 1.85 per cent y-o-y to Rs 3.19 crore, while Taxation decreased by 14.27 per cent at Rs 7.27 crore (Mar'21 Rs 8.48 crore).
