Gravita India zooms on reporting 2-fold jump in Q3 consolidated net profit

Gravita India is currently trading at Rs. 337.45, up by 7.75 points or 2.35% from its previous closing of Rs. 329.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 362.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 362.50 and Rs. 337.00 respectively. So far 38842 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 362.50 on 31-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 73.00 on 19-Apr-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 362.50 and Rs. 289.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2371.45 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.53% and 25.47% respectively.

Gravita India has reported a fall of 23.22% in its net profit at Rs 7.67 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 9.99 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 44% at Rs 470.31 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 326.61 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 2-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 41.29 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 16.73 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 50.56% at Rs 560.47 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 372.25 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
