GSFC trades jubilantly on reporting around 3-fold jump in Q1 consolidated net profit

Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals is currently trading at Rs. 161.75, up by 19.05 points or 13.35% from its previous closing of Rs. 142.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 156.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 164.75 and Rs. 151.40 respectively. So far 1261367 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 198.70 on 05-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 95.05 on 24-Aug-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 164.75 and Rs. 139.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6467.29 crore.

Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals (GSFC) has reported around 3-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 355.83 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 137.76 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 63.36% at Rs 3,091.58 crore for Q1FY23 as compared Rs 1,892.53 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported around 3-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 345.81 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 136.11 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 62.78% at Rs 3,048.67 crore for Q1FY23 as compared Rs 1,872.82 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
