The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 18.13 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 27.64 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 34.41 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined marginally by 3.11 per cent at Rs 300.48 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 310.12 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 0.31 per cent to Rs 260.91 crore from Rs 261.73 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 98.21 per cent at Rs 0.01 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 0.56 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 18.23 per cent to Rs 39.57 crore as against Rs 48.39 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 15.58 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 67.13 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.39 crore, while Taxation decreased by 33.78 per cent at Rs 6.41 crore (Mar'21 Rs 9.68 crore).
