The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 20.86 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 25.85 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 19.30 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 45.32 per cent at Rs 249.01 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 171.35 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 63.26 per cent to Rs 208.35 crore from Rs 127.62 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 16.67 per cent at Rs 0.70 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 0.84 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 7.04 per cent to Rs 40.66 crore as against Rs 43.74 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 36.01 per cent in June quarter. Interest grew by 46.13 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.72 crore, while Taxation decreased by 6.67 per cent at Rs 7.14 crore (Jun'21 Rs 7.65 crore).
