FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per May 17 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Tuesday’s data were net sellers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13022.55 crore against gross selling of Rs 16537.57 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3515.02 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 503.48 crore against gross selling of Rs 2613.85 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2110.37 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16.47 crore against gross selling of Rs 14.94 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1.53 crore in hybrid segment.
