FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 6 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net sellers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7320.88 crore against gross selling of Rs 8577.29 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1256.41 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 4571.04 crore against gross selling of Rs 4647.85 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 76.81 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3.93 crore against gross selling of Rs 10.33 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 6.40 crore in hybrid segment.
